We are delighted to announce our new product range – converted portable horsebox cabins, brought to you by the expertly skilled craftspeople at Love Campers. With years of experience in carpentry and metalwork our team can build transportable glamping products for your garden or business including saunas, showers, micro cabins and more.
Love Campers will source a vintage horsebox or, alternatively we could use something you already own. We then strip them down and completely rebuild them to be totally weatherproof.
Our converted horsebox cabins were officially launched at The Glamping Show Live 2022 to a great reception from the crowd. The prototype on display was converted with a simple layout to spark the imagination of the entrepreneurial minds of those who attended the show.
The horsebox pictured below came with a ‘single skin’ meaning it was neither insulated nor fully weather proof to begin with. Love Campers fit organic insulation and full off-grid electrics to make it into a liveable and homely space. We will fit solar panels on top and whatever facilities you may need inside. Love Campers will work closely with the client to create a completely bespoke and beautiful product.
With one of our horsebox cabins the idea is that you can keep it simple, or let your dreams run wild. It’s totally up to you! Take a look at our inspiration board to explore the different types of looks you can achieve with one of our conversions.
How would you design your converted horsebox?
Ask yourself these questions:
- Would you want to use it as a small cabin in the woods?
- If so, how many sleeping berths would you need? (We can build rock and roll beds, slat beds and even bunks!)
- Would you want to use off-grid heating for use all year round?
- Or would you like something a bit different like a sauna or a luxury shower room?
- What type of style would you like inside? (You can choose the materials and upholstery to suit your personality or brand!)
- Perhaps you’d like a peaceful place to work from home from the comfort of your garden?
- Would you need a fully functioning kitchen, complete with fridge, oven, sink and table?
- Or would you want something completely unique to run your business from, like a coffee shop, therapists room or something else?
